Behind the design of our ARRIVE at Redstone Way showhomes

In this interview with Susan Wolf of Behind the Scenes Interiors, we talk about the style and inspiration for our showhomes in Redstone, northeast Calgary.

What influenced and inspired your interior design work on the ARRIVE at Redstone Way showhome?

Inspiration for the three showhomes at ARRIVE at Redstone Way came from families.  We looked for ways to incorporate a family living into these homes, creating a fun design for a young family. We used the Sherwin Williams 2018 Color Of The Year pallet in the Teal tones in two of the showhomes.

How would you describe the style of the showhome?

The style in one would be a rustic farmhouse and the other two are a modern, transitional style.

What qualities do you look for when selecting furniture and decorative pieces?

Mostly pieces that show how great the spaces are – pieces that work spatially, but also have warmth so an individual or family could see themselves living here.

What are your favourite items in the showhome?

We love different rooms in all three of the showhomes, but one of our favourites is the double master (Chili) with the stylish wallpaper for a soft relaxing master bedroom and the secondary master posed as a fun teenagers room.

What was it like working with the team at Partners?

The Partner’s team is truly an amazing group of hardworking individuals that work together as a team. From the office staff to the site supers, to the sales people, everyone is dedicated to handing over the best product for the customer.

We are very grateful and honoured to work with Partners Development Group. The values they have are the same that we at Behind the Scenes Interiors share.

What home design trends are you looking forward to in 2019?

We feel 2019 trends are staying with a clean base of whites, greys, browns and navy and adding some colour with wallpaper, texturing and accessories. Light fixtures will also be making statements in 2019.
