This includes interaction through our web site; at our show homes, sales centers and exhibitions; by way of market research and for the purpose of serving our customers.

  • Information related to the purchase or proposed purchase of a home including municipal and legal address;
  • All plans, specifications, agreements, addendums, revisions, change orders, or any other information related to the construction of the home including general information on preferences, advisors and decision-makers, feed-back and information requested by or provided to you;
  • Personal financial, banking and insurance information;
  • Information about any remedial work or other work done to the home;
  • Information from third party contractors, suppliers, consultants, developers and lawyers who provide work or services directly to you or Partners;
  • Information required by National Home Warranty Program or AVIVA (the “Program”). This information includes any information about a request for assistance, claim or dispute between you and Partners about your home, including information provided during the course of alternate dispute resolution processes such as conciliation, mediation and arbitration procedures of the Program or any legal proceedings;
  • Website specific information regarding requests and choices you may have made and other general information such as your IP address, “cookies”, URL addresses and names of the immediate proceeding website you may have visited; and
  • Market research information related to your choices, preferences and demographics.

If you have contacted us through our website, or provided us other contact information in our efforts to market our products and services, we may also contact you via e-mail message or other media to:

  • Respond to an inquiry or request for information;

Why do we collect personal information?

Partners will collect personal information to enable us to manage, maintain, and develop our business and operations, including:

  • To establish, maintain and manage our relationship with you so that we may provide you with, or receive from you, the products and services that have been requested;
  • Partners may be required from time to time to disclose your personal information to third parties. The purposes for such disclosure include, but are not limited to:
    • Enrollment in the Program;
    • Developer approval of the plans and specifications;
    • Financing of the construction;
    • Registration of the Transfer of Land with the Land Titles Office;
    • New Home Rebate and Canada Revenue Agency;
    • Contractor conducting work on the home insofar as is necessary for any specific contractor to complete it work on the home;
    • Warranty inspections and subsequent remedial work, if such work is covered by any warranty contained in the Purchase Agreement;
    • To be able to review the products and services that we provide to you so that we may understand your requirements for our products and services as so that we may work to improve our products and services;
    • To be able to comply with your requests;

How do we use and disclose your personal information?We use and disclose your personal information:

  • For any additional purposes for which we have obtained your consent to use or disclose your personal information;
  • Partners does not sell, rent, share or otherwise disclose mailing lists or other personal information obtained with any non-affiliated companies. However, your contact information may be available or provided to third-party service providers and contractors (such as the Website developer) that are contractually obligated to protect your information as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. In order to maintain accurate records concerning communications that Partners may have received from or sent to you, Partners may also indefinitely store any information that you provide to Partners.

We may use or disclose your personal information without your knowledge or consent where we are permitted or required by applicable law or regulatory requirements to do so.

We only collect Personal Data from you, such as first and last name, phone number, e-mail, when you register to receive information. We collect data about your activities that does not personally or directly identify you when you visit our website, or the websites and online services where we display advertisements. This information may include the content you view, the date and time that you view this content, the products you purchase, or your location information associated with your IP address. We use the information we collect to serve you more relevant advertisements (referred to as “Retargeting”). We collect information about where you saw the ads we serve you and what ads you clicked on.

As you browse http://arrivehome.ca/, online ad networks we work with may place anonymous cookies on your computer, and use similar technologies, in order to understand your interests based on your (anonymous) online activities, and thus to tailor more relevant ads to you.  If you do not wish to receive such tailored advertising, you can visit this page to opt out of most companies that engage in such advertising.  (This will not prevent you from seeing ads; the ads simply will not be delivered through these targeting methods.)

We do not target ads to you based on sensitive personal data, such as information related to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs or other beliefs of a similar nature, trade union membership, physical or mental health or condition or sexual life. We may target ads based on data provided by Advertisers or partners alone or in combination with the data we collect ourselves. Any data used to serve targeted advertisements is de-identified and is not used to personally or directly identify you.

In order to allow us to reach the best inventory online, we work with third party advertising companies (our “Advertising Partners”) to help us recognize you and serve relevant advertisements to you when you visit a website or online service in their network. We also work with Advertising Partners who help us recognize you across different devices in order to show you relevant advertisements. Our Advertising Partners may collect information about your activities on our website, and other websites or online services in their networks. We also work with third party companies to assist us with website analytics such as evaluating the use and operation of our website so that we can continue to enhance the website and our services.

We and our third party partners use session cookies and persistent cookies to make it easier for you to navigate and enhance the experience of our site, and to monitor and evaluate our website’s operation and use.

When do we disclose your personal information?

It is important that the information contained in our records is both accurate and current.
